The bonanza for Chennaiites seems to start even earlier. Look at this announcement in Carnatica about their Bharat Sangeet Utsav:

Impressive line-up! BTW, there is one SM Kulkarni featured in the list of partcipants in the symposium on Saturday Nov. 4th. Our 'coolkarni', by any chance? Also, I see TMK paired with UKS... is this the first time?

coolkarni,
You have to bring the point that the future of carnatic music rests on intelligent coercion where all appreciate details, and a prerequisite to that is the concerts have to be atleast 2 1/2 to 3 hours . This is irrespective of whether the crowd is there or not . For every performer(vocalist + violinist+ mridangam artist + tambura artist) there are atleast 3 faithful rasikas. If I come to the debate, I will be viewing you as Rahul Dravid (rather Adam Gilchrist)and others as fellow passengers.
;) and please speak as quickly as possible .
