The vasantha kriti was Kodu Bega Divyamati - Adi - Purandaradasa . Very Interesting and engaging Kalpana Swarams in the Pallavi line

Mangala Kaisiki a rare raga and this kriti is normally rendered by very few. I had an opportunity to listen to this kriti by TM Krishna. I could imagine, Dr VS a learned vidushi of high calibre with good potential would have handled this nicely.

It was a beautiful rendition of Sri Bhargavim - on the Goddess of Srirangam. The song is replete with Swaraksharams that add to its melodic beauty. The song was rendered in a kaalapramanam that brought out the beauty of the ragam , plain notes as well as the lyrics.
