a sweet voice, but not cloyingly sweet; great diction; superb tempo; awesome support from pakkavadyams - percussion was soooo good IMO, the way they played for s'bharam was superb; all in all a very good 2:30 hours of solid music. tanam was accompanied by percussion as well.

the tani was a tad long, around 20 mins. would have been good if it had been 12 - 15 mins and RTP had more time (~30 mins).

Nice concert.

Felt that she hit the stage running and everything was delivered at a heightened pace until she arrived at the main and took a respite. Kamalamanohari sounded more like jaganmohini. Neraval at sarasiruha punnaga would have been much better has she slowed it down a bit (like a walk around a garden).

Sankarabharanam alapana was done very well and there were extended moments of pin drop silence at the auditorium with everyone soaked in melody. Kriti rendition and neraval which meandered freely into other charanams were fabulous.

Anandabhairavi was also featured in the ragamalika section of the RTP.

Tala chosen for the RTP was the same that Abhishek chose a couple of hours later in the evening, except he tied our fingers into knots.
