Smala,
Here you go. I had translated it before I relaized that PB had already translated the viruttam/pASuram before. It is a composition of toNDaraDipoDi AzhvAr.
The kRti I suspect is a profoundly philosophical one despite it apparent simplicity, and I am not sure that I 'get' everything. In any cae, I am sure that other more qualified than I, like Rajani, Arasi, PB, Ponbhairavi, Punarvasu and many others, will jump in with corrections, clarifications and explanations.

I have no place/town to call my own (UrilEn – Ur illAdavan), I have no (illai) land (kANi) [1], no (illai) kith or kin/relationships (uRavu maTRoruvar). Oh supreme (parama) Lord/form (mUrti), in this world (pAril), I have not touched/paid obeisance (paTRilEn) at your (nin) holy feet (pAdamUlam)! My (en) darling (kaNNanE) [2], with the resplendent (oLi) complexion/color (vaNNanE) of a cloud (kAr), I am crying out to you (kadaRugirEn). Oh resident (uLAnE) of the mighty/big (mA) city (nagar) of Sri Rangam (aranga), my mother (ammA) [3], is there (uLar) anyone (Ar) who can destroy (my grievances) (kaLai), and grant me grace (kaN), (other than you)?

FOOTNOTES
[1] kANi is a measure of land, and lest you think it is small, it consists of what we call as 24 ‘grounds’
[2] kaNNan is a term of endearment for someone who is as or more precious than one’s eyes
[3] By crying out to vishNu as ‘ammA’, tonDaraDipoDi AzhvAr, the composer of this pASuram equates the Lord to a mother in compassion and response to a devotee’s/child’s cries
[4] ‘Ananda’ is not just happy, but happiness-inducing as well
[5] sat-cit-Ananda: existence-consciousness-bliss – the essence of the experience when the jIvAtmA unites with the paramAtmA (not sure if this is the composer's mudra as well)
[6] I am not aware of the philosophical implication of this statement

kUTRena vandu ikkUTTaip pirittiDuvAn
This would mean 'He will manifest as yama and rip apart (life from) this body' - (kUTRu - yama; kUDu - body - literally nest; pirittal - to rip open)

VGV - thank you so much. Makes much better sense. kUTRu is not how Sri Sanjay sings it, though.I hear it as UTRu.
