The sisters gave a memorable concert to a packed auditorium at vidyabharati kalyana mantapam yesterday.Neat presentation and clear diction has always been their hallmark!Starting with a varna as a tribute to their revered guru Prof TR Subramanyam they were all set to mesmarise the audience with their singing...
Lakshaamulu was presented with great enthusiam with brisk and crisp swaras. The ever pleasing bhairavi was followed by one of the most beautiful compositions of shayama shastri..IT was sung with great devotion...

The sisters brought out the essence of Bindumaali in their raaga and taani elaboration.
Ragamalika section was all exiting when Haripriya started Raag Multani, which was dealt with finesse.
It was a concert complete in every sense!!!

Such a wonderful list. Priya Sisters are one of those few musicians who respect the emotions of composers and reciting every song with perfect diction. I can imagine how beautiful the Bhairavi must have sounded. Their repertoire is also so vast. Look at the variety of composers whose compositions they chose! Thank you so much for sharing the list. I have heard their Bindumalini a couple of times but not a detailed rendition. The treatment they must have given to the raga must have been an absolute musical treat! Once again thank you so much for posting the list.
