Ahopurushika - A Forum for Promotion of aesthetics in Classical Carnatic Music
I want to start a forum for promotion of aesthetics in Classical Carnatic Music with the following objectives:
OBJECTIVES:
1. Nurture and sustain the pristine quality of Classical Carnatic Music by exposing the performers, the rasikas, the organizers, promoters and others to the nuances of this beautiful art form viz., Carnatic music
2. Facilitate evolution of Carnatic music form in a systematic way without allowing individuals spoil it
3. instill values in the practitioners of this art form
4. Provide a stage for the practitioner of the art to display his/her artistic skills and earn recognition
5. Provide technical and tutorial support
ACTION PLAN:
1. Organsing thematic concerts
2. Webcasting the live concerts on the web
3. Conducting regular seminars and workshops
4. Observe trinity and other composers’ day
5. Observe yester years’ musicians day
6. Interact with educational institutes to create awareness and popularise Carnatic music amongst the youth
7. Starting a quality monthly music journal.
8. evolve critical aprreciation
