SRLKM
Lovely pdf , what I liked about the whole pdf is that you are also putting the list of forthcoming concerts , so that there is a futuristic aspiration of folks knowing about your next month concerts which is far more important than the past. I am assuming sangeetha vidhyanidhi shankar who wrote about Mysore Brothers is Bangalore S Shankar , is that right?

Good article sachi , it is very simple and certainly not that heavy to follow.

ON a side note I and cool were talking few months back , Bangalore is really doing a great job in terms of organizing concerts in non festival times , I have to confess chennai has to learn a lot from you guys in terms of having more futuristic elegance of what is needed?(if time permits will write a thread in general on royal challengers)

What a wonderful, meaty publication, with no shyness about presenting technical detail, which each reader can take or leave according to our understanding --- or, maybe revisit many times as understanding grows :)

Rajesh,
Good observation! The reasons behind non-season concerts in Blr and Mys are-
-Good weather Feb/Mar/April and Aug/Sep
-major festivals : Ramanavami, Janmashtami, Ganesha, Navaratri
- availability of top artistes

Another inside: the various associations raise funds for festivals (apart from tickets) through Dept of Culture Gov of Karnataka support, corporate sponsors and culture trusts.
