Saw vijay siva, sangeetha sivakumar and kiranavali vidyashankar in the audience.

māmi sings with commendable determination, even when rendering even the most difficult of kṛti-s. She gives no hint if hesitation for any song; with ease she launches into swaras for the puṣpalatikā piece (and a nicely presented harikhāmbhōji).

Just FYI.Alamelu Mani is the mother of Singer Hariharan(Bombay)-she has devoted her life to Music and one of the rare preservers of the Brindamma and Mukthamma tradition--anybody who is eager to learn Padams/Javalis besides some rare krithis of Dikshitar or Thygaraja should approach her.Her husband the Late Chellamani Sir(famous in Bombay)--one of the first gurus of Bombay sisters--was an excellent teacher trained by the Swathi Thirunal Music Academy.Unfortunately died very young.
