Trichur (Express ) brothers gave a scintillating concert in Mumbai.
Efffortless singing full of sowkyam and tempo.

Their brilliant alapana of varali and Abheri ( sung in suddha daivatam) must be heard to be believed.
It was as if you can’t sing any better alapana.Kaa vaa and Nagumomu were equally sung soulfully.
They surprised us in Bho shambho which had a beautiful taanam intermingled making up for the missing RTP.

Huseni and Mukhari were moving.

Vijayaraghavan was celebrating his wedding anniversary on 20th.So they dedicated Seetha kalyana to him.It was a touching moment indeed.

The co-ordination between the brothers were amazing with perfect unison with each one taking off from where the other left be in A or S.

Trichur Mohan provided the perfect support for his sons. He encouraged Shankar lakhshman a lot and it was good to see a senior artist applauding a much junior artist.
The swaras for kava and Nagumomu were sung in 3 speeds as was nirai madi making it more enjoyable

It was a 3hour 15 mins concert well sung and making the rasikas give them a standing ovation in the end.

We almost dint notice till we went home that they dint do neraval for any song.

An Excelllent concert for sure.

Nice of you to notice that they did just once , perhaps they are indeed looking at the forum and genuinely trying to correct. How about the sabha seceratary , i am sure unlike chennai he was not folding his hands for the brothers to wrap in vile parle. Tx for your review , keep them coming .

Rajeshnat sir - It was the only concert so no time limits. We would have loved to fold hands and ask them to sing more but it was past 9 45 pm. They were brilliant.

Priyasekhar,

Who organized the concert. Was it Music Triangle or some other sabha. And who is Vijayaraghavan. Is he the sabha secretary. Just curious
