According to news reports TH Vinayakaram has been awarded the Padma Bhushan. Congratulations to the maestro!

Doesn't look like there is any other recognition for Carnatic musicians apart from Sri Vinayakram.

So far there is no Ghatam artist who has been conferred Sangitakalanidi
