Re: K.P.Parameswaran
Well, I happened to see a video post on cienu sir's FB wall of Sri K.P. PARAMESWARAN wherein he plays a Tani in Misra ChApu which is mixed with lots of balles, aahs, aayyos and ummms
Excellent Tani and TK Murthy Sir's style is stamped on all korvais and sollus. Excellent Toppi, it has got ample weight, especially when Sri PARAMESWARAN plays Tisram. And the KArvais that he leaves in the end of each korvai during the first and second time @ the edam point, and then playing the full stuff during the 3rd and final time of it, is breathtaking... i downloaded that I've heared it now several times. Similarly a Tani in RUpakam is also uploaded on UTube, which is again impressive with misram in it.

Re: K.P.Parameswaran
Of course without any doubt Sri K.P.Parameswaran is a great artist in mridangam. The Knowledge he has with him is anonymous and that is not recognized by many people. His way of playing, perfectly resembles his great guru Dr T.K.Murthy. He is the best mridangam teacher now present in palakkad who has the perfect and unique stuffs with him. Also he is a prime disciple of the legend murthy sir and who follows his guru's style in full fledge. The tani avarthanams played by him will be a treat for everyone. He is also a great accompanist, who has played concerts with many stalwarts. He has also performed with great percussionists like T.H.Vikku Vinayakram And G.harishankar. Pranams to his simplicity, teaching and knowledge.
