Sowmya was at her best. Magical voice good selection of songs and she produced a neat concert.

During RTP my mom said she sounded very MLV yish and it was a joy.

A beautiful melodious concert indeed.

If AR made varali and Purvi kalyani outstanding yesterday it was Sowmya's turn to make Ritigowlai bhaudari and thodi scintillating.
What an aallapanai it was for the ragas and a brilliant round of swarams .Amazing indeed!
When she finished alapanai of Ritigowlai audience were guessing she would sing janani or guruvayurappan but she surprised all by singing the rarely hear balendu!

It was a well planned concert giving equal justice to all songs.Her voice in superb condition she gave a flawless performance.
When she did shruti bedam in RTP thodi with mohanam in a fleeting one minute alapanai it was a brilliant flash showing why she is such a perfectionist.
Thukkadas were sung in full emotions touching the heart with khamas and mukhari.

R.K Shriramkumar was outstanding returning Sowmya's volley of swarams with professional touch.

Narayanan was pleasant on the mridhangam and Chandrasekar ably supported .The thani was enjoyable.

A second day of brilliant music .

Another excellent concert by Sowmya.

Should I mention can't wait to hear Sanjay Subrahmanian on Sunday.
