Sri Shiva. रत्नैः कल्पितमासनं हिमजलैः स्नानं च ...Inspired to read with meaning after listening to her Ragamalika of this one of Adi sankara.The selection of ragas was judicious viz.,Shanmugapriya,Ahir Bhairav,Madhuvanthi,Madyamavathi.very informative &scholarly but just a miniature size of what she used do in Tattvaloka.the description of how Ratnagirishwarar temple in Besant Nager was formed with the blessings of Maha Periava Kanchi who had identified the linga that is installed there& the reference to this temple being similar to Ratnachaleshwarar in Kulithalai-Ayyarmalai was well received by Hamsadhwani audience.Also her undeterred enthu despite a technical snag in PP ....Also heard someone has postponed his return trip to a date after March 8 the event date of her last episode of the current series in Tattvaloka.

Followed by brief Tani.Veena Vijalakshmi &Violin Ganesh Prasad gave good support esp.,when GG was struggling to get PP through .Their raga elaboration &alternating Swara exchanges were enjoyable. GG brought her guru stamp while handling Todi.

Though I had to go away from my laptop many times (the nitty gritty summoning me), I heard quite a bit of the concert.
A good start with Sri mahA gaNapathi. malayamArutham rAgam and kaRpaga manOhara (PSivan) were very pleasing to hear.
I missed vANanai (one of my pet songs)
SAranga (aruNAchala nAtham) was appealingly sung.
Gayathri sang kunitha puruvamum and MMPillai's thODi kruthi majestically.
I'm glad I could hear at least this much of the concert!
