Dear Rasikas,
We invite you once again to another vintage performance; K.S. Gopalakrishnan on Flute in 1977 in the illustrious company of Chalakudy Narayanaswamy (Violin), Tanjore Upendran (Mridangam) and M.A.Krishnamurthy ( Ghatam ).
This being a very fine concert from music's end, but one which had acoustical problems of audio seeping from adjacent tapes, we are very obliged to our very resourceful member Shri R.Sachi for having labored to restore it to it's old and effective charm.

This is a stellar concert!
The tonal quality of KSG's flute is probably unmatched. His North America tour with Vidushi Kanyakumari and Vidwan Guruvayur Dorai circa 90s has some brilliant concerts. Two concerts stand out - one with Brindavanasaranga pallavi and Thodi pallavi.
What manodharmam! Pity that the great man doesn't play often. Great loss for the rasikas!
