Is there any Good violin repairer in your town (In INDIA)
By 'Good' I mean people who specialize in violin repair -- those who wouldn't use fevicol/araldite for fixing, won't freely coat wood varnish on a fine violin, and know how to cut and fix a bridge perfetly etc.
The purpose of this thread is to bring out the names and contacts of good violin repairers for the benefit of Indian violinists.
Interestingly, Lalgudi Foundation seems to have conducted a workshop on violin repair bringing in expert luthiers from abroad. I would love to see the names of the repairers who underwent the training here.

Good God, I am also really looking for someone who at least knows how to cut a bridge nice and sharp keeping the strings at the right heights. Many I've got locally keep the strings too high (more than 7-8 mm off the end of the board). Some shorter ones on my friend's violins are so blunted with sand paper that it feels like the bow is trying to bend steel bars near the bridge.
