Here is the general meaning I found on the net.

Meaning:
When you feel hungry and tired, the only way out of it is the chanting of "harinAma." In the situation where you lose everything and get caught by adversity, you can be saved only by chanting "Harinaama" (the name of Hari). In dangers, sins, troubles, fears, one can feel secure only by rendering "Harinaama." If you surrender yourself to the Lord, he will save you and be with you in all your misfortunes.

other than the name of Hari, nothing else can give courage.[p]

When completely ruined, the community considers [you] as worthless

caught, captured by somebody,

the steadfast name of Hari is the firm refuge.

Even if forgotten,missed, there is no other way [apart from Harinama].[c1]

At the time misfortune strikes,when afflicted,

when a sin is to be committed, when scared,

[reciting] Harinama as much as possible is the only refuge,

there is no other way even if one goes topsy-turvy till sundown.[c2]
