Cleveland Thyagaraja Festival 2014 - Live Webcast

iCarnatic,org is pleased to announce we will be webcasting the 37th annual Cleveland Thyagaraja Festival from April 16-27, 2014.

This year features 75+ programs featuring musicians & dancers from India and USA. For a complete list of programs, please visit http://www.aradhana.org/schedule.html

iCarnatic will be webcasting all the programs live on icarnatic.org. To offset the cost of webcast, we offer the following 2 packages for viewing the concerts.

• Gold Package: All the programs can be viewed for a package price of $100. In addition to viewing the programs live, the India Artist programs listed below can also be viewed 1 time from May 3-31, 2014 on demand at your convenience.

• Silver Package: All programs by North America artists / children including some of the competitions, pancharatna kritis can be viewed for a package price of $50.

• India Package: All the programs can be viewed live for free from India. Programs by India Artists can also be viewed on-demand for a package price of $50.

Folks: Hot news from Cleveland!! Having a wonderful time--thursday and Friday events were fantastic--Friday was jam-packed--R and G were great!!! Varun Ganesan's Pallavi exhibition was outstanding praised by the Seniors,Nagai Murali,Ashok Ramani,Mannargudi E et al intricate Pallavi(challenge thrown by the Judges just 1 hour before the concert!!0-- I think the Tala was Tisra Jathi triputa in Kanda Nadai--forumites present may correct me--was not taking notes--the sequence of evets were simply blurring!!!---
Fri-- yesterday the Jazz ensemble was electrifying(just to show off that I am not a cave-dwelling neanderthal!!)--met VKV and our Udhay--any other forumites attending please feel free to avoid me if it is possible!!!
VVS and gang have put up an outstanding show despite the logistical nightmares--fortunately the weather is pleasant-

Today plan to attend the Pancharathna etc .
Competitions at all levels was great!! For this alone the Ardhana Committee needs to be congratulated for their initiative.

I was there Saturday April 19th only for about 5 hours. I had the pleasure of meeting Sri VKV and Sri Ramasubramanian for the first time!
Ramanathan is very much there. He has been busy so he probably has not had much time to take pictures and share with us.

Kruthi Bhat's performance was excellent!

It was a great sight to watch the enthusiasm and energy of kids participating!

I can only say Thank you to the Organizers and volunteers who are so dedicated.

I wish our audience would learn to behave better than talking, gesturing, walking all over the auditorium when a performance is going on.
It is sad that some of the senior performers themselves belong to this group!
