Let me ask a few basic questions. (I am ready to have them discussed ina separate thread if you folks like!)
1. Who is a Rasika?
2. How does one become a Rasika?
3. What does a Rasika want?
4. How does a Rasika graduate? (into a senior Rasika etc.,)
enough questions for the present.
For 1 &2 if anybody answers ' A Rasika is born!' then no contest! But I believe that answer will not be universally accepted. Suppose at least the small group of us narrate our experiences of becoming CM Rasikas that will be a good beginning. Coolkarni has reported earlier how he cam eto CM through HM. For me, I am not ashamed to confess that I came to CM from FM! Subsequesntly I did take some lessons in CM and had a ton of discussions with Rasikas before I could become a junior Rasika. It was time and effort consuming. Again my lack of knowledge of Telugu/Kannada was a serious handicap initially when I thought that Sahitya was the most important part of CM. The appreciation for pure instrumental music came much later. Still I am at LKg in respect of Laya and was hoping there will be some lessons at this Forum. (sigh...)
Items 3 and 4 are highly individualistic and we have to let the Rasika choose what he/she likes. Of course Internet has opened the floodgates of resources. But still that by itself is unlikely to bring in new recruits to our Rasika fold. Let us look at the mechanism first and then fashion the strategy....

I have already suggested making use of Youtube (or google video). I found some concrete examples which I wanted to show how this could shape up. This is about HM, but the same can apply to CM. It's an sitar vidushi talking about several interesting things (in video clips which are 2-3 minutes each):
