RSachi, RKM has emerged as your favourite musician among the upcoming artistes. No complaint. He is really good with strong sruti sudham, good imagination, padantharam, stage manners and presence. I also like his concerts.
I heard the concert you have reviewed and it was very good. The swaras for Emani pogaduthura was intelligently crafted . Sree Subramnyaya Namaste was presented with grandeour. I expected a RTP in the lines of SKR- something like a Ranjani mala pallavi. I did not get that. The ragamalika Neethan thunai Neelambari is typical of SKR.

I like RKM's music for his voice, his way of presenting songs (esp. Niraval), his choice of songs...it reminds me often of KVN, my old favourite.

RSachi - thank you for the link to this concert - a very talented young man who provided me with an aural delight over several hours - of hearing the concert and ruminating on it.
I do have a potentially blasphemous comment to make - Sri RKM's kAmbhOji AlApanA was one of the most sublime ones I have heard in the recent times, and after the violin return which I also liked immensely (no idea about technical details, but they were superbly emotional AlApanAs), the kRti seemed superfluous (HELP - am I going on to the Sri TMK camp? )
