Bharatanatyam Duet Item suggestions

Dear Rasikas,

Could you please help me with some suggestions for songs for a Bharatanatyam duet? Dashavatara is one option... I am looking for other options/recommendations. This item would be performed in lieu of varnam. Please help....

Are you replacing the varnam in a margam just to have a duet? I have seen varnams performed as duets several times over. Choose a bhakti vs. sringara varnam, and this will be possible.

If you have other reasons, you might try a long sloka adapted for dance with jathis interspersed (e.g., Naagendra haaraaya is popular).

My sister and I dance together all the time... the only item we tend to do as solo's are padams (though some compositions can be done as a duet too! )... I don't think there is any limitation!
