Dear friend,

It was an unforgettable and memorable experience today after listening to Sri.OS Arun at the Unnati Centre. We in India have the pleasure of being able to hear so many wonderful artistes perform and listening to Sri. Arun is an experience which cannot be described in words. It is something only those who get to hear him realise. He takes one through such a wonderful journey and makes the Lord literally stand in front of each one and experience the ‘divine’ presence, throughout his concert. It was much beyond a nuance or the rendering of a particular song. Today it was a mood of merging with the divine and transcending into another realm, altogether. The first half of the concert was the traditional ragas, main raga being Simhendra madhyaman and the second half was totally dedicated to songs and requests from the large number of fans who were present and Sri. Arun ensured that he didn’t send anyone without giving them the pleasure of hearing their choice. It was a treat for everyone. Karraikal Sri. Venkatasubramaniam on the violin, Sri.Hari Sundar on the mridangam and Sri. S Ganapathy on the tabla gave good percussion support.

Details of Ragas:
1.Pabho Ganapathe—Thillang
2.Yappadi Thaan Yen Ullam—Neelambari
3.Paramapurusha Jagadeeshwara—Vasantha
4.Saadhinchene—Arabi
5.Simhendramadhya vaasini—Simhendra madhyamam (Main)
6.Pandari Nivasa—Misra Bilaval

12.Swagatham Krishna—Mohanam
13.Kandavarku Kanavillum Kaala Bhayam Yedaiyya—Kunthalavarali
