Cienu,
This 'NagEndra' side of the sweet person I know as Manjunath is a revelation to me. Surprises in life never end!

Thanks for Sharing. It's very nice to see this multi talented person. Maybe one of these days I will see him at a concert playing the tambura!

gardabha_gana,
Until you see him as the tambura artiste in a concert, you may find him playing the tambura in a concert or two of Aishwarya on youtube.

Manjunatha in Dharmasthala is adorned with snakes.

It's great that Cienu and family have trained the snakecharmer to wield the tambura which in some instances is as whimsical as a cobra! :)

That was a Nice Article... :)

Whenever I visit 'Suswara Lakshmi', I find Shri Manjunath with a disarming smile. There is one other aspect of him which I have observed :

He is exceptionally talented in involving children in various outdoor activities. I have seen kids competing themselves to get near Shri Manjunath so that he will hold them to perform some kind of acrobatics, especially the kids who join the playground nearby... And of course, the leader would be his son himself :))
Also, I have seen him feeding kids (thrusting morsels in their mouth)... so he is a kind of Chacha Nehru for them

When I chauffeured Shankaran Sir (Tiruchi Shankaran) and Amma (Mrs Lalitha Shankaran) to facilitate a meeting with Radha Paatti, Shri Manjunath was very much present smiling (as usual). They were quite astonished to find a bizarre combination of snake expert and a tambura player. They were talking about this topic even later that day

Manjunath can expect to see a book on snakes and animals this week end ;)
