I had recently enquired with the forum on the bilahari song. Hope this concert is recorded and we will be able to hear it on youtube/sangeethapriya.
Because but for a single recording of this particular song by Sri Ramachandra Rao (which is not in very good audio quality although the singing is powerful) no other recording is available. I don't think song is frequently sung by artistes even.

Really hoping it will be uploaded someone.

Just an observation - no neraval in the concert.

While the concert was outstanding, the interesting part was, no neraval!!

Badari sir, looks like I was sitting right in front of you. I can see Amrutha Venkatesh and Prince Rama Varma in the pictures you posted on your blog. I was sitting right next to them.

Just saw that SS has sung srI rAmachandrO rakShatu,Pallandu at Pune on 14th. No complaints though.
But no neraval was one complaint

Thanks for the info Badari. What a fantastic list of songs! Sanjay sir usually sings neraval in the RTP. I wonder why he chose not to this time. I hope he uploads to Bilahari song.

An excellent concert. Niraval was there as part of the Pallavi. The swarakalpanas in Dhenuka, Shanakarabharam and Sriranjani were very good, excellent choice of phrases which delineated the raga well.
Varadarajan, as always, was outstanding. Neyveli was very exhuberant and energetic, provided good laya support.

Altogether, an outstanding concert.

Some aspects of Sanjay are very nice: the way he put up with the average audio system, no fuss about facilities, the way he accommodated song requests
