A lovely and warm hosting it was, and we missed you there...

The music room in Ravikiran and Latha's house has a lovely ambience. The rest of the house too. I did not notice the picture then. Wonder if it is Venkata kavi's that we see. Where the group photo was taken, you can see GOTTuvAdyam Narayana Iyengar's picture.

In the kolu picture, see how many there are whose names start with the letter R

A Rasikas meet like that, the ones at Nageswaran's and those in Bengaluru at Cienu and Geetha's are hard to repeat...

And to this day I think about the way it all started--like kuchelA's bundle of aval (flaked rice), Bharath starting it all, wanting to meet other rasikAs, bringing a packet of mixture, finding one rasikA at the appointed hour (now, who was that? I forget). Bharath reported that a good time was had by the two...

Nice photos.It was one of the best meets I have had the privilege of participating in. I cannot adequately thank Ravi Kiran and his whole family for their hosting the meet despite the fact that RK had several engagements --being the season--he nearly "missed" a function where he was to be honored!!!

I apologise for the delay in sharing the photographs though. This album had gotten buried under my various other photography assignments. When I sent these pictures to Ravikiran sir, he was the one who suggested that I share them with you in this forum. That was when I knew such a forum existed. This is really lovely. May the photographs stir some more memories of the meet
