Sandhyavandanam Poorna Pragna Rao is now taking students on SKYPE. SPPRao, is my younger brother and is based in Chennai. He is a student of late Dr.Sandhyavandanam Srinivasa Rao, Sri K.V.Narayana Swamy and Sri D.K.Jayaraman. He did Vidwan course studying at the Tamil Nadu Government College of Music and Dance, Chennai. He was a lecturer in CM at the Teacher's College of Carnatic Music, Music Academy, Chennai and later served Singapore Indian Fine Arts Association's college of Music and Dance, Singapore till recently. He is now guest lecturer for Kalakshetra and also Tamil Nadu Govt.Music College. Vid.Charulatha was a student of SPPRao.

Incidentally, many other Music Teachers should also come forward to make use of this forum to promote the teaching facilities offered by them. The promotional efforts may be vigorous – but never vicious.

I am happy that more and more vidwans are coming forward to teach online. And , if proper methods are utilized , keeping the change in mind, our music system can go from strength to strength.

May I ask if the teaching is for students of all levels and ages? This info could be beneficial to the takers.

SPPRao accepts students of all ages. But student is expected to have come up to Varna stage.
