I love Smt. Urmila's dancing - the reviewer's note about her araimanDi, ahzuttam in her steps, and her expressions is spot-on. And Smt. Vishakha is a communicator par-excellence, so I am sure the combined effect was therefore more than the sum of these artists' individual effects.
I really hope this program was recorded...the society can raise more funds through the sales of the DVDs.

I attended this wonderful programme, and I know it was recorded ( we were sitting quite near the cameramen). Since both Smt Vishaka and Stm. Urmila are experts in their fields, their coming together was a treat to rasikas. The former said that it was her Guru Lalgudi Sri. Jayaraman who brought them together. The singing, accompaniments and dancing of Ardhanarishwaram, Vellai Thamarai Poovil and Ma Janaki etc. were outstanding.
