Maharajapuram Viswantha Iyer Trust will be presenting the ‘MAHARAJAPURAM VISWANTHA IYER MEMORIAL AWARD’ to Vidushi Smt T. Rukmini at 6:30 P.M. on 22nd November , 2014 at Srinivasa Sastry Hall ,Luz, Chennai 4.

Also Senior Musicians Sri Tambaram V. Sundaresan , Smt. Prabhavathi Ganesan and Sri Ernakulam S. Ramakrishnan are to be honoured with ‘Senior Musicians’Award’

The Youth Awards for excellence go to Smt Amritha Murali, Sri J.B.Sruthisagar & Sri. Guru Raghavendra

Dr. Va. Ve. Subramanyam Presides & Presents the awards. Sri Y. Prabhu and Maharajapuram Srinivasan Felicitate the awardees.

A number of young budding Vidwans and Senior musicians will be performing in the music festival from 22nd to 25th November , 2014.
