I like to have the meaning of the following Tulsidas bhajan:

jAnakI nAth sahAya karE jab kaun bigAD karE nar tEro (2)
jAnakI nAth sahAya karE
sUraj mangal sOm bhrigu sut budha aru guru varadAyak tErO
rAhu kEtu kI nAhI gamyatA sang shanIchar hOt uchErO
(Janaki nath sahay...)
duST duhshshAsan vimal draupadI chIr utAr kumantar prErO
jAki sahAya kari karuNAnidhi baDh gayE chIr kE mAr ghanErO
(Janaki nath sahay....)

raghuvamshI santan sukhdAyI tulsIdAs charaNan kO chErO

My attempt:

jAnakI nAth sahAya karE jab kaun bigAD karE nar tEro (2) - when Rama helps you, oh man, who can ruin you?
jAnakI nAth sahAya karE
sUraj mangal sOm bhrigu sut budha aru guru varadAyak tErO - Surya, Mangal, Chandra, Shukra,Guru will all shower boons on you
rAhu kEtu kI nAhI gamyatA sang shanIchar hOt uchErO - Rahu and Ketu will have no effect, and Shani too will comply (When Rama..)

duST duhshshAsan vimal draupadI chIr utAr kumantar prErO - When the evil Dushyasan provoked the pure Draupadi by disrobing her saree,
jAki sahAya kari karuNAnidhi baDh gayE chIr kE mAr ghanErO- then went the reservoir of mercy(=Krishna) and helped her heeding her cry and extended her robe infinitely..

jAkI sahAya karI karuNAnidhi tAkE jagat mEin bhAg baDhErO -when someone is helped by this ocean of mercy, his earthly fortune will multiply,
raghuvamshI santan sukhdAyI tulsIdAs charaNan kO chErO - the scion of Raghu vamsha=Rama, the beginningless one, gives bliss, his feet are worshipped by Tulsidas

santan - is it without end? I thought it was saints (sant, santan)

Santan was interpreted as sanatan.
We could take it also as
Santvan=solace
Or santan-ko= to the saints etc. But I feel Tulsi Das was using the word to describe Rama.
Let me check in my BIG book..

UPDATE
most Hindi prayers (Gurugranthsahib) use santan as santvan =solace, relief, consolation...
When it says santan ko it means "to saints"

Precisely.
In this context (since the reference has been made in the earlier lines already to troubles people can give a devotee and God's protection) Tulsidas says God gives: a. satisfaction/relief from trouble (saantvana in Sanskrit) and b. Sukh =joy or happiness.
That looks like the most correct interpretation.
The key idea is for man to align himself to receive God's protection and grace, in order to overcome/obviate troubles given by worldly people around.

It is in this context, i.e., santan = virtuous, that I think santan sukhdAyi is 'bestower of happiness on the virtuous/saints' and not 'bestower of eternal (sanAtan) happiness'

Ravi, I think we have to distinguish when the poet refers to saints and when he refers to a common man, here called "nar". As I mentioned already santan is the shortened version of saantvan. Santan ko would imply "to a saint". Santan then would be a person. Here it is a type of feeling, like sukh. And I agree that santan here does not mean sanaatan=beginningless or eternal.

nar in the first line is not an address. It would mean 'when SrI rAm is there to help, which (kaun) man (nar) could bring trouble (bigAD karO) to you (tErO). Or ....which (kaun) man (nar) could play spoil-sport (bigAD karO) for you (tErO)? 'santan sukh-da' is an epithet of Vishnu - please refer to the dictionary cited. There is no need for 'ko' after 'santan'.

Your explanation is perfectly valid. However my understanding is what I stated. Tulsi is addressing a common man, Nar. That's my sense of the language Tulsidas has used.
