I'm looking for a composition on Namagiri Thaayaar.... Has Muthuswami Dikshithar composed one?

Is there another segment to the singing? I couldn't hear any song on Namagiri annai.

MANY MIGHT KNOW THAT "The man who knew infinity" (Ramanujan)went& prayed to Namagiri Thayar for permission to go Abroad & in his dream he got the permission!his mother was satisfied he could go abroad. He stayed there & prayed close to more than a month. In one of my ex-annual trips to Chennai I was reading the excellent book by Robert Kaniegelon on the plane- the book is about Cambridge(Hardy) & Triplicane,Chennai (Ramanujan)PLACES he went to only after he agreed to write the book! Actually It has a map of Triplicane......I DIRECTLY WENT TO THE Namagirithayar Temple by hiring a Taxi at Chennai Airport & to me it has been a highlight of my trips to India....Ever since I have been unsuccessfully searching for a composition on Thayar..... Incidentally this book is a MUST READ for any one from India who is interested in MODERN DAY EQUIVALENTS of ALL TIME GREATS who grew up in South India.....VKV

Some say that this fort was built by Tippu Sultan, and others say that it was built much earlier. Namagiri itself is has references back to 9th century.

All this bring back memories of my school days in this town
