Krithika Natarajan at Bharat Kalachar

AdamoDi Galade Ramayya! .......You seem to feel too proud-thus sang Thyagaraja Swamigal.Yes.Krithika Natarajan like that you too can feel proud for rendering a wonderful and brilliant concert for Bharat Kalachar yesterday. Krithika commenced with a brisk Varnam in Kanada .She followed it up with Rakshamam in Nattai.The song that was immortalized by the Great Chembai..then A small piece in Nilambari.But she excelled in Charukesi when she rendered Ada moDi Galade,restricting herself from overdoing alapana. The brief Mohanakalyani was brilliant. But Krithika excelled when she took up Varali and rendered "Kamakshi amba" .she displayed extraordinary imaginative talent both in alapana and swaraprastharam. Varali is supposed to be synonymous with hum of a bee and she proved it right. And The Legends thillana in Kalyanavasantham was awesome.you did proud to the Legend.Congratulations Krithika for a great concert.and keep it up.Both Rajeev Mukundan and Arjun Ganesh splendidly supported.but Arjun Ganeshs mike was not OK and when I signalled to him about that he was as mute like the mike.And the mike problem did not seem to bother him as he is a committed player.
