The Parur Family Super Star Dr M Narmada thrilled the packed audience this evening - never saw such a fast bow movements. She started the kutcheri with Maharaja Swati Thirunal varnam in Kambhodhi (sarasijanaabha), followed by a detailed Hamsadvani (Vaarana mukha by Koteeswara Iyer), a fast Suddha Bangla of Thyagabrahmam (Rama bakthi saamrajyam), a class Nattai from Pancha Ratna Keertanais of Thyagabrahmam, a quick Jaganmohini of Thyagabrahmam (sobillu saptaswara), first time in TSS raga Veera Vasantam (Eamani Pogadutura - how I will praise) of Thyagabrahmam, again a new raga Soora Ranjani (raghunatha Nanu) of Ramanad Srinivasa Iyenger, a good RTP in Keeravani (Kamalavasini, sundari, chandravadhani, raajamathangi, manonmani), Behag (aadum chithambaramo of Gopalakrishna bharati), mind capturing Kaatrinilae (of Dr MSS amma), Bridavana saranga (kaliyuga varadan kankanda deivamai) and ended with traditional Thillana.
She took pain in giving a brief note about the Sahityam & Sahityakarta and importance of the song she played - appreciable gesture from such a Senior Artist.
As Thyagabrahmam put it, "elagani vivarampa leanu, chala swanubhavamey ghani" - each n every of the rasikas present have enjoyed the total concert for abt 2 h 20 min.

Dr.Narmadha presented a scintillating Kiravani and a very pleasing Taanam.She made sure to maintain the tempo of the concert.The concert was real proof to show that she was at absolute comfort while performing even high speed passages in crystal clarity.She is a genius and that Sindhubhairavi Tarana .What a graceful rendering.Every moment with her violin exhibits her total union with her violin.

Hello people,

I attended this concert,I really enjoyed the violin music a lot.

It was as though I was listening to MSG.same violin tone, same gamakas,same briga,every thing same.
Her voice is so melodious,In her violin music I can listen to the song lyrics,simply blissful.

I have recorded few songs will post it after I edit those.
