SaRiGaMa: A Smartphone app for the Margazhi season

Post by krishashok »

Hi,

My name is Krish Ashok and in addition to being an ex-student of TN Krishnan and an amateur musician (https://soundcloud.com/krishashok) I work at TCS as part of the Digital Enterprise team. My team has built an app for the Margazhi season that I think members of this forum will like.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... azhi&hl=en

One can follow ones favourite artists, get GPS maps with driving directions to venues and even take down notes at concerts. The data in the app is largely crowdsourced and rasikas like you are crucial to the long term sustenance of this app. Please give it a try and let me know what we can improve and how this can evolve into a long term companion for the rasika.

Downloaded this app after seeing a banner for it at vani mahal when I attended Sanjays concert. A lovely addition to my phone. Kudos

This might be the same person who had a pasta-sloka for some italian restaurant in Madras. Mostly aptly chosen sahitya in key spots for that one and a couple of others. I used to read too :). Welcome, and thanks for your important contributions as RShankar says.
