Nice concert. The alapanas were to the point. Mullaivasal Chandramouli's replies were soaked in ragha bhavam. During thani, mohrsing took a special place! Bhagyalakhsmi played for 7-8 min with different sollus. The pallavi was executed well with tisram and trikalam. I have provided a coarse description of the pallavi. The transitions between the ragas were effortless.

I was there from hamir kalyani onwards. For me, my name sake's concerts are hard to come by, and I simply love to hear her. Often I wonder--why are such complete musicians not given much focus?

Mullaivasal played very well for the RTP, but it was Serthalai Ananthakrishnan and the women duo Sukanya and Bhagyalakshmi who added to the beauty of the concert throughout.

It is nice of her to render a 3 raga pallavi , I am assuming she sang this for the first time . Some one can add her post pallavi tukkadas list . Raji has excellent spread of emote and language selection in tukkadas . Tx maduraiveeran for your review.
