Revisiting the Album Thread.

While revisiting the Album Thread in our website, I came across the music of the Madras String Quartet album consisting of the leader and the first violinist Mr. V.S.Narasimhan, second violinist Mr. Hemantharaj Muliyil, Mr. V.R.Sekar, celloeist and vocalist Mr.B.J.Chandran.
Mr. V.S.Narasimhan, was trained in Carnatic music from his young age and western classical music and he was one of the lead violinist for Ilayaraja, the famous music director of the film world.
Mr. Narasimhan, in collaboration with the website http://www.stringtemple.com, had produced a few albums [Raga Saga,
Romance [ Veena by Mr. R.Parthasarathy and Cello by A.R.Sekar,etc] which were very melodious Carnatic basic songs played by the string quartet.
Unlike other fusion music produced by many, his albums stand out for the pure melody with the absence of any percussion instruments.
