Trichy Sankaran was felicitated by the college before the concert. OST presented a very lively, enjoyable all tyagaraja compositions concert. It was a tad short as he was rushing to catch a train and had been singing concerts across cities continuously for a week. I like OST's style of singing and his choice of compositions. Mathur Srindhi accompanied the main artists very well.
I do not know anything about the technical aspects of mridangam playing and even to a novice listener like me the naadam of the Prof. Trichy Sankaran's was perceptible. It was sweet and wholesome. His accompaniment to all the krithis was very lively. There was also a grand tani.
