I was wondering whether we may have a separate header for posting in Indian languages without translation, as many as required depending on the languages covered.

Ravi, yes that has been the case.

The recommendation from the Admin is to stick to English in expressing your thoughts in the general forums. A phrase or sentence in any of the Indian scripts is fine, but it is highly recommended to post a transliteration and wherever feasible provide a translation. This is stated intentionally in such a 'soft' form and we expect members to exercise their best judgement. Same recommendations apply for any quotations, poems or newspaper story of general interest that you may want to include in Indian scripts. The longer the piece, the more compelled one should feel to provide a transliteration and/or translation.

When in doubt, follow what Arasi does!! ( e.g. see above)

In the language specific sub-forums none of these obligations exist. You can post away in that language script without feeling any peer pressure to provide transliteration or translation. Providing them is fine as well.
