Vidushi Smt. Aishwarya Srinivas concert at Odukathur Mutt

The concert at Odukathur Mutt by Smt. Aishwarya Srinivas was very commendable. It was a 4 to 6p.m. on 21st Feb 2015. concert . The whole concert was gem packed with Sri Jalandhara - Gambira nattai, chintayamam- Bhairavi, pirava varam, pal ninaindootum -viruttam and eppadi padinaro. Hailing from a great school of music Aishwarya did full justice to the rendering. A young artiste may be ranked well based on the closeness with which he/she renders the songs either to one's gurus or to the learning itself [ maybe from cd's or otherwise.]
The closeness criteria needs to be applied with respect to their tone, the patantra, the grace, the passion, the faith and the voice itself.
The accompanists Adith on violin ,and Chetan murthy on the mrudangam provided able support. The audience was very appreciative of the concert.
