It was a classic concert. A vintage performance by a 60+ years old vocalist accompanied by a 70 year old violinist and a mridangam vidwan nearing 80 for an organisation that is celebrating 50 years of service to classic music and other performing arts. Each of the three senior vidwans have performed for the organisation all through its existence.
My music knowledge is not vast enough to comment on the senior vidwans, Very pleasing concert and a wide variety of ragas, composers and talas were presented. Would have liked one more neraval or an RTP.
