Thoppur Prof B Sairam, accompanied by Dinesh Kumar(Padmasri AK sishya) on violin and Valangaiman Prof Thyagarajan on mridangam, gave a heart-filling concert on the concluding day of 168th Aradhana of Sadguru Sri Thyagaraja Swami organized by Thrimoorthi Sangeetha Sabha, Pozhichalur.
he took Eathavunara in Kalyani as main and gave a very extraordinary alap in Kalyani. he also gave a beautiful Rama Nee Samanamevaru in Karaharapriya, and a faster darbar (Yochana) prior to that. Dinesh and Tyagarajan did their part very well. Both Prof B Sairam and Prof Tyagarajan are from TN Govt Music College.
the total two+ hrs kutcheri was excellent and everyone of the audience went home with great satisfaction of listening to a good concert, desiring for an 'once more' kutcheri !!
