Years ago, Carnatic music concerts lasted much longer than they typically do now, often 4 hours or more. Today, there aren't many rasikas who have experienced such concerts. And there are even fewer artistes today who have the repertoire, virtuosity and stamina to present such a concert. Ranjani Fine Arts is very pleased to host accomplished musician, scholar and a prime disciple of Sangita Kalanidhi Vidushi R.Vedavalli - Vidushi Sumithra Vasudev, who will present a special 4-hour vocal concert as part of RFA's April 2015 monthly program.

keep it up ranjani fine arts. In chennai regularly Sarvani sangeetha sabha used to do this 4 hour concert - i have attended atleast 3 and i ksick my self not attending few more . But sarvani since it moved from ma-mini to ragasudha have not conducted this 4 hour concert.kudos to your team, bangalore is resembling chennai of 90's and 2000.
