Partial, but enjoyable. Who are the artists?

Govindan,
She's Sukanya Ramgopal from Bengaluru. She is a vocalist too. Here, she leads an all women orchestra of hers. I have heard her many times playing in concerts, but have not seen her with her orchestra.
The one who plays the mukha sanku (I like that word better then mOrsing) is Bhagyalakshmi. Both of them performed in a concert together at the Academy last season--at Neela Ramgopal's, concert, if I remember...

As a tamil poet it may be of interest to you that her Great grand father is the Tamil savant U.VE. SAMINADAYER and that she was born at Mayiladuthurai

Really, PB? In all these years that I have heard her, seen her, I didn't know that! I thought she was a kannaDigA...

Thanks, PB and PB!
I have seen and heard her many times, greeted her several times, but didn't know all these details about her!

Wishing the best to her and to her family on this day for supporting her and her art all these years. Bless them!

Incidentally, both Mrs. Ramgopals (the other being Neela) are kannaDigAs too, in that they have adopted Bengaluru and the kannaDa language as their own. Both their families come from the same area in TN as well!
