Munirao sir
The crowd of ragasudha hall or any hall is a function of how many concerts are held in parallel in neighboring halls like tattvaloka/Sastri Hall / PS high school etc and also there is a group-ism within artist community . In halls for some artist u will see 50 non artist as rasikas and 50 fellow artist as rasikas all totalling 100, and for some artist of a similar calibre you will see no fellow artist attending with nearly the same 50 non artist as rasikas crowd.
In general the crowd going down has got to do nothing with SVK and his daughter Jaya. They are certainly doing a great job. There was a brief lacuna when SVK passed till Jaya took up. As such I am at a loss when you say Organizational Problems or lack of connectivity of rasikas . Connectivity of rasikas is artist problem not SVK/Jaya problem. As such about 200 concerts are held exclusively in ragasudha in a year . I wish there is one raga sudha in every area like Nungambakkam , T Nagar , Perambur etc that holds Year Around Concert.
In 2001 there are many rasikas who are in the age group of 65's to 80's obviously many of them are not there in 2015. The problem in general is there is not enough replenishment of senior citizens -those who are 45 to 50's in 2001 who are now 60 to 65 are not coming to sabha .Who knows they are watching IPL , internet savvy to download all songs in sangeetha priya, internet savvy to watch live webcast . That is where the problem???
Bottomline the critical mass is replenishing the just retired from work rasikas to come to sabha . I am few decades away from that . But you help bring those who just turned to 58 and 60 as of now and make them hear CM.
