Amazing, amazing concert. Listening for first time. Nannu brovu Lalitha - main. Can melt a rock, as they say. Subhalakshmi , so involved in the ragam rendition. Shanmukhapriya RTP with ragamalika swarams . Huge overflowing crowd. I am sure someone will write the list. The sisters undoubtedly have a very bright future.

The list was:
Kanada varnam by Poochi
Nattai Jaya Janaki Purandara
Varali Ka Va P.Sivan
I was thinking Jujhavanti piece akhilandeswari by Dikshithar will fit in admirably and it was played. It was soaked in bhava with no loud or harsh notes and the accompanists enhanced the divinity of the composition.
Lalitha Nannu Brovu Syama
Bahudari Brova Bharama Thyagaraja
RTP Shanmukhapriya (I left once the pallavi was taken).

List of songs:

1. Neranammithi Varnam Kaanada Ata Talam
2. Jaya jaya jayajanakikantha Naattai Khanda Chapu (S)
3. Ka Va Va Varali (R) (S), Adi - Ragam by Sornalatha
4. Akhilandeswari Dwijavanthi (R) Adi - Ragam by Subhalakshmi
5. Nannu brovu lalitha Lalitha (R) Misra Chapu -Ragam by Subhalakshmi
6. Brovabarama Bahudari Adi
7. RTP Shanmukhapriya Adi 2 kalai
Sahityam - Murahara Nagadhara Bhavabhayahara Sadaa Maampaahi
Ragamalika swaram - Vagadheeshwari, Nalinakanthi, Aahirbhairav
Tani avartanam
8. Visweshwar darshan kar Sindhu Bhairavi Rupakam
9. Thillana of Lalgudi Jayaraman Mohana Kalyani Adi
10. Pavamana Mangalam Sourashtra Adi.

Comments:

1. Good selection of songs.
2. Whole range of composers covered- Trinity, PD, Swati, Sivan, Lalgudi.
3. Range of thaaLams covered.
4. Healthy interaction among themselves as well as with fellow artists.
5. Lalitha, as already mentioned, was the one I loved most.
6. Whatever be the speed (even 3rd kaalam of varnam) did not once have screech. Excellent bowing technique.
7. Two slow numbers, Dwijavanti and lalitha back to back might have been felt a dampener by some. I personally enjoyed as both were rendered with deep raga bhaavam. Speed was made up in Brova baaramaa !!
8. It was a 3hr 40 min concert . No sagging moment.
9. Rain arrived towards end of the concert . But no damage done.
10. Around 180-200 people enjoyed the concert. The hall was still packed at the end of the programme.
11. The spirit of the concert caught on the percussionists as well. Besides very understanding accompaniment there was a superb thani.
A first time concert for me with these artists and it was extremely satisfactory.
