Sangeethapriya website is currently not available. An announcement indicates that the site would be off for a few hours on May 24, 2015. But even today, June 03, 2015 it is still not available. Is it so in India too ?

I regularly listen to a lot of concerts and Krithis available on Sangeethapriya website on Sangeethapriya IPad/Iphone Apps. The App is a great creation of Sri Panyam. I can listen to all the music available on Sangeethapriya website without logging on to the site or downloading from the site. Recently a modified version of the App became available and I have been having some problem using the "Search" option for concerts and Krithis on the App. I sent a couple of e-mails to Sri Panyam but did not see any changes made to the App. Kindly let me know if any of the members using the App are experiencing the same problem as myself. Thank you very much.

I am very sorry for the tardiness in my response. Can you please tell me which version of the iPad you are trying this on as I am unable to reproduce the issues. Also have you updated to the latest verion of iOS that is supported by your device?

Subsonic app is not working for me either from the last 4 or 5 days. The "Test Connection" fails. It retiries 4 times and fails. I cannot live without it

I am very happy to respond to your message with necessary details. Your Sangeethapriya App (IPad and IPhone) is a wonderful creation for those like me who want to listen to great Carnatic music without logging on to Sangeethapriya website and downloading from the website. The IPad App is very straightforward and easy to use. Your recent modified version of the App works OK on IPhone but there are some problems with the IPad version and I don't know why this should be so. I can take the screenshots you have requested and send them to you. If you have no objection, I could call you and explain the issue better. I live in New Jersey, NJ and calling you is not a problem if I can get your tel. Number. Thank you and sorry for taking your precious time attending to my issue.

The streaming server issue is now fixed and the contents are in sync with main server.

The following changes have to be done in your Subsonic app on your mobile device

Sorry for the delay. I have found a couple of issues related the problems you were facing. I have submitted another version to the app store which should be ready within a week or so. The next version will be 1.1.3. Once you try that please let me know if you have any issues with it.

Thanks to Sangeethapriya and google, I have a hassle free way of listening to music.

I have the DSub android app on my mobile/tab and a google chromecast connected to the HDMI port of my home theater system. I log in to Sangeethapriya streaming server through Dsub and cast to my HT using chromecast and listen to concerts through the HT. If any one else needs the TV / HT, I just connect to my headphone and continue listening without any break or disturbance.

Hmm, ok, here is an alternative.

There is a new app for sangeethapriya, yet to be formally announced. It is in "Beta stage" , so it is not yet available in Play store

Since it is not there in Play store, you have to install it through APK file

For that you have to allow installation from "Unknown sources" . This you can do in settings -> security -> Unknown sources and enable it

After you do the above, visit http://www.sangeethapriya.org/sangeethapriya.apk
This will download the APK file into your Downloads folder of Android device

Open the APK file and install

Let me know how it goes.

Thanks a lot.. the apk works and played songs.. I dont know if I can ask something more because you guys/gals have already done so much in bringing cm to our phones at such ease.. Loved the random option in subsonic.. will it be part of the final cut ? Just curious.. thanks for this again..
