Re: Madhu Kashyap
Rajesh,
Thanks for opening the thread!
Recently I enjoyed Madhu Kashyap's concert that was webcast (I think it was Kalavanta festival from Bangalore).
I did not know Madhu Kashyap is mRdanga vidvAn N G Ravi's son!
Sri Ravi spent a few years in the US during early 1990s when he was part of (late) vidushi Jahnavi Jayaprakash's group providing live music for bharatanAtya performances.
I spent some time with him in Carlisle in PA during one of those performances (April 1990). His sense of humor is high caliber too!

Re: Madhu Kashyap
Sreeni,
SrI Ravi is now part of Smt. Neela Ramanuja's group, and every summer, he's in the USA, as part of the orchestra for many arangETRams. And I can attest to his sense of humor! And he and Smt Neela did a fantastic job working with me and my daughter's guru to set the music for a snake and peacock dance she wanted.
