The young duos have already made a mark as singers of high energy and youthful exhuberance. This concert was also a power packed one. All the songs were on Sree Rama to conform to the theme. The duo intelligently divided the slot into two halves- the first half covered heavy classical fare with ragam, neraval and swaras and the second half focussed on bhakthi centric songs and needless to say, they excelled on both the sections. Teliyelaru rama was rendered in the strict SSI patantharam with right mix of classism, bhavam and manodharmam. Bhairavi alapana was excellent-shared by the brothers- with abundant manodharmam, right amalagam of brigas, jarus, Kampitha prayogas and akara sangathis. Neraval in Chandrabimba mukha and swaras were soaked in bhavam and imagination. The second half of the concert highlighted the bhakthi quotient in the various compositions. They presented various colours of Sindubhairavi for about 5-7 minutes with just the lines “Rama Lakshman Janaki Jaya Bolo Hanuman Ki” which made the people ecstatic. I presume this was popularised by some famous Hindustani musician. Similarly the slokam in Ahir Bhairav and even the Mangalam spread the bhakthi aura inside the hall with half of the audience joining with the musicians with clapping of the hands. The concert planning and execution very much suited the bhakthi sangeet utsav. The accompanists played with lot of sensitivity and took the concert to a higher plane.

I searched you tube. There many versions of this bhajan by many Hindustani musicians. I did not here them though.

Yes, that refrain comes at the end of every stanza sung by MS.

Not sure if Yaro Ivar yaro is suitable for Rama Bhakthi Samrajyam?

They have carved a space for themselves amidst the cuent generation - both with their content and presentation.
People seem to have accepted them whole heartedly.

I also attended the concert. I reserve my review.
Iam with Mahesh. Rama bhakti Samrajyam has got different meanings. My definition is that the song should reflect "Rama bhakthi". Someone may argue, the composer's bhakthi is rama bhakthi. The latter is generic.

Only Hanuman did Rama bhakthi in the epic. Many composers enriched their thought process through Rama bhakthi. TB have taken Thyagaraja, Dikshitar, Swathi Thirunal and other composers. Arunachala kavi's "yAro" is not showing Rama bhakti. The situation of this song (all of of us know) does not show any Rama bhakti. Even, Dikshitar, through his kshtra mahAtmiyam brought out some of the composiitions on Rama.

Some of the topics are crystal clear. Like Sikkil Gurucharan had taken Sivanum dAsarum and sang Papanasam sivan and Purandaradasar kritis. He took situations and how both of them reacted through their song.

The song is part of Arunachala Kavi's Ramanatakam, the situation for the song is when Rama, Lakshmana comes to Mithilai and see Sita. Nothing to do with Rama Bhakthi Samrajyam. I think the theme itself was "plucked" from the first few words of Thaygaraja Swami's krithi in Sudha Bangala.
