The Lec Dem started exactly at 10 00 hrs. The hall was full.

Following are the interesting points noted
PSN
After 45 yrs PSN has taken up this Lec Dem. No use of simply talking about Music. Out of sheer compulsion he has accepted this programme.
Smt SV is the apt person to associate with him for this Lec Dem
In any Lec Dem Rasikas participation is important
SV is very knowledgeable and knows 500 varanams

S V
PSN is an inspiring musician for her since childhood.
Only through compositions,a Raga's full swaroopam will come out
In earlier days disciples were afraid of asking doubts to Guru as regards to the lakshana sangeetham.

My observations

The 105 mts Lec Dem was very educative and the participation by the disciples was pleasing. The above mentioned kritis were all having different patterns depicting the beauty of the Ragas. Vijay Shiva was present through out and when he was asked to say a few words on this Lec Dem by PSN, he shared his observation regarding Esana in Sahana compositions of MD may be referring the Raga Sahana . Most of the Rasikas were students.
The entire Lec Dem was quite enjoyable.
