First thing was she gave a brilliant performance.

With all reports of past one year that she has lost voice and bad singing, I went with lot of reservations.I myself heard a below par singing by her in last season so was crossing my fingers when i went.

I was so glad she was in form and I had a great relief as she is my favourite singer - cutting out the needless high pitch singing she gave a great 3 hour concert.

Dhanyasi ,Kapi alaap were so brilliant that i had tears in eyes.pantuvarali was crisp.
Crisp swarams and perfect blend of fast numbers made it enjoyable concert.

It was indeed a happy time for many of her fans who were disappointed with recent reports.Never did she show any strain in singing

MAk was as usual faithful in brilliant bowing.

Skandan and Kartik were perfect in a tani of 15 minutes.They beautifully blended in a subdued manner.

I had always wondered why Mridhangam and ghatam dint join in Tanam.
Today all the 3 joined in tanam along with Nithyashree and made the tanam an brilliant out of the world experience.

Hope Nithyashree continues in this manner by singing brilliantly and praying god that she continues in this way .

A Begada aalaapana she sang in Mylapore fine arts, Chennai several years ago still lingers in my ears! Wish she comes back to form with added lustre.
