Swarohan is pleased to announce Samrakshanam 2015 - A Music Therapy Seminar . Swarohan aims to serve the needy through music. Its key focus areas are Swarohan Shiksha ( music education for the underprivileged) and Swarohan Chikitsa ( music therapy for the needy) Those interested tp participate / help please reach out at [email protected]. The following are the details :

Date : 5th September 2015
Venue : Party Hall, Golden Corner Apartments , Sarjapura Main Rd, Bellandur Gate
Timings : 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 pm followed by Lunch
Donation : Rs 1000/- per head.

Goal :
Create a community of music therapists who can educate themselves and help in enabling better lives through classical music .

Expected Outcome Of Event :
Learn from the experiences of therapists and those benefiting from the therapies. Form a committed set of individuals who can help sustain the larger goal as a group .

The event will feature eminent musicians and therapists like Kalaimamani Dr Smt Lalita, Dr Geetha Bhatt, and Dr Shantala Hegde and a performance by the special students from Hamsakutira, among others.

Hoping to see many rasikas support this cause.

The seminar is in Bangalore. Sampoorna Centre For Music Therapy will also be presenting. The event donation has been reduced to Rs 800 per head and is being taken only to cover the expenses.
