This is a small concept that I had come up with a couple of years back. As I have explained in the post also, this is more an academic exercise than a practical one (though there could be some happy exceptions). But it could certainly give an organised theoretical anchor to contemporary/futuristic compositions/collaborations...

Very interesting sir. Just in the lower topic below, we were discussing about why only 7 swaras are around with 12 variations. In that we were wondering about the absence of chromatic scales even as an exercise in CM for mastering all the 12 positions. If even one of these scales can grow up and become a raga as developed as Sindhubhairavi, I would be very glad to hear it in a concert. Other genres that are more scale based could have a field day.
